How do you maintain a risk register for your charity?

As a trustee it's your responsibility to manage the risks posed to your charity or group.

While you may not be able to control the risks, having an updated register helps you to plan for the worst case scenarios and demonstrate that you have considered the risks.

It's not just a back-covering exercise, an effective risk register can help you spot problems before they arise and have plans in place to deal with them if needed.

The Trustee Board UK risk register is easy to use and allows you to keep track of all your risks. These can be imported into your meeting agendas to provide a snapshot in time and prompt any updates needed.

The risks are ordered in priority, with the most severe and likely risks at the top and the risks that pose less of a threat to your charity or group towards the bottom.
